DLA Piper is still the largest law firm in the Nordic region
With 588 lawyers and a total revenue of 155 million euros DLA Piper retains its position as the largest law firm in the Nordic region.
The newspaper Norwegian Financial Daily (Finansavisen) recently published an article focusing on the most significant players in the legal sector in the Nordics. DLA Piper still holds its leading position in the region, both by headcount and revenue.
- A few years ago we saw an opportunity in the legal market. We laid out a strategy to become the largest law firm in the Nordic region, and the only global law firm with offices in Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway. We are proud to have succeeded in this, and that in spite of fierce competition we still maintain our number one position in the Nordic region, says Hans Christian Brodtkorb, Chairman of the Nordic Board and Partner in DLA Piper Norway.
We include a short summary of the article below.
"The Nordic region is more than just Norway and Sweden. British-American DLA Piper have offices in both countries, plus Denmark and Finland. The Nordic initiative is led by Hans Christian Brodtkorb, partner in DLA Piper Norway.
The 588 lawyers in the Nordic region last year had a total revenue of 155 million euros.
It turns out DLA Piper retains that position this year as well.
