Anders Hilt heads the firm's renewable energy practice and works primarily within energy law and planning and building law.

He has broad experience across the energy sector, advising on complex regulatory matters, transactions, and contract work.

Anders acts for both Norwegian and international renewable energy clients, including industrial companies, utilities, investment funds, and growth companies. He has particular expertise in regulatory matters within energy, which makes him a sought-after legal advisor for all types of energy projects.

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Anders served as a senior advisor at the County Governor of Oslo and Viken (Statsforvalteren) where he gained in-depth experience in planning and building law, expropriation, and general public law. He regularly advises property developers on regulatory and construction projects, offering strategic and legal counsel throughout the development process, from zoning and development agreements to expropriation and the building application process through to completion.

His combined expertise in renewable energy and real estate development also makes him a key advisor to the data center industry. Anders currently advises several of the largest data center operators in Norway across all phases of their development.
