Jan Snogdal
Jan Snogdal specializes in corporate transactions and has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, investments, succession planning, and turnarounds. This experience is also brought into play through his teaching and speaking engagements.
In addition, Jan has many years of board experience, having served on the boards of a significant number of companies across a wide range of industries. His board experience is supported by an international board education from INSEAD in France, including certification in Corporate Governance (IDP-C).
Based on his broad experience, Jan is frequently involved in designing robust solutions and efficient processes. A consistent focus is that the point of departure is always what is commercially and strategically optimal for the individual business, after which the legal solutions are structured to support this objective.
Jan’s professional work has included chain-based businesses across various segments, both within voluntary and capital-based structures. In addition to a large number of transactions, this has involved the development of business models and strategies.
Furthermore, Jan has been actively involved in the startup ecosystem for many years—an area of particular interest to him. This engagement has provided him with a strong and well-established network within the segment.
Finally, Jan has a close and long-standing relationship with Italy, including as co-founder and President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Denmark. The Chamber employs 25 staff members and has offices in Copenhagen and Rome, and is the leading one among a total of 85 Italian chambers of commerce outside Italy.

- Jan advised the owners of the Danish tech company, Fremco A/S, which manufactures and develops fibre blowing machines, in connection with the sale of 84 per cent of its shares to Storskogen Group.
- Jan assisted the owners of Padel Club Denmark in the sale to the Swedish private equity fund Triton, through the company Ledap Group, following a very extensive clarification and preparation process.
- Jan advised the owners of Danish Sleeknote in connection with the sale to the US e-commerce marketing platform Drip. With the acquisition, Sleeknote will be the headquarters of Drip’s European activities, and the companies have a total of 150 employees across 100 countries.
