Jes A. Rosenvinge
Jes A. Rosenvinge is highly specialised in construction law and has more than 25 years’ experience in dealing with issues of building and construction, including invitations to tender, Danish and international construction contracts, arbitration and litigation proceedings, conciliation and mediation, expert valuations as well as in handling additional requirements and claims regarding delay (claims management).
Jes has a right of audience before the Danish Supreme Court and is a qualified, certified arbitrator from the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC Arbitration Institute); he is also qualified as a construction-law mediator under the auspices of the Association of Danish Law Firms. Jes advises contractors, employers and technical advisors in Denmark as well as abroad and has been involved in some of the major and most complex arbitration proceedings and construction cases in Denmark.
Jes Rosenvinge has conducted 500+ proceedings before the Danish Building and Construction Arbitration Board, thereby gaining many years of in-depth arbitration experience enabling quite a precise anticipation of the decision on and outcome of an arbitration.
Within the field of construction law, Jes deals with construction contract drafting and contract review, tender and project documents, risk management, claims management, preservation of evidence in expert valuations, performance bond payments, mediation and conciliation as well as arbitration; in addition, Jes also acts as a sparring partner for construction-industry players.
Furthermore, Jes deals with contract law, damages and insurance as well as the drafting of terms of sale and delivery, etc.
Jes Rosenvinge is a member of several construction-law networks and has, since 2017, worked regularly with DI Construction. Jes is also an experienced lecturer and frequently holds courses for construction-industry players (in 2025 alone, Jes gave six lectures on AB 18 and climate requirements for Danish BYGMA Group).

- Jes acted for a major Danish employer in connection with the termination with immediate effect of a DKK 138m construction contract and subsequent arbitration proceedings and conciliation before the Danish Building and Construction Arbitration Board.
- Over the course of 13 years, Jes acted for a Danish municipality in extensive arbitration proceedings against a major Danish turnkey contractor concerning defects in an institution building. The proceedings involved e.g. 8 expert opinions and 4 different experts as well as subsequent legal proceedings brought by the contractor regarding invalidity. Jes’ client was successful in the proceedings.
- Jes successfully acted for a major Danish contractor in an extensive DKK 50m arbitration before the Danish Building and Construction Arbitration Board relating to a dispute with the main contractor, CMT, Italy, concerning the Cityringen metro in Copenhagen.
