Mariana Chapei works as foreign lead lawyer within DLA Piper Norway's Intellectual property and technology-group (IPT). She is dual-licensed by the New York Bar Association and the Brazilian Bar Association.
Mariana works primarily with commercial and business law, financial regulation and their intersection with technology (FinTech), as well as data privacy law. She assists clients with ongoing corporate, commercial, regulatory, and technology matters, focusing on commercial contracts and agreements, licensing and terms of service, privacy program and policies, and cross-border transactions and investment rounds.
Mariana has extensive experience in negotiating and drafting international transaction agreements and providing guidance in connection with the launch and maintenance of diverse products, ensuring compliance with banking, financial, health sciences, and consumer regulation.
