Vibeke Søvik Lindberg

Vibeke Søvik Lindberg works primarily within the field of banking and finance.

Vibeke has more than 22 years of experience from various areas within business law, mainly within finance law and financing, where she has represented a large number of clients spanning from Norwegian and international banks to international corporations within shipping and finance to Norwegian companies and banks. She has previously worked as Deputy Head of Legal Norway in Danske Bank, Norwegian branch in Oslo, in addition to experience from DLA Piper Norway as Lead Lawyer and from Wiersholm. 

Vibekes main areas of expertise are general finance law and loan transactions, restructuring, shipping and ship finance, bankruptcy law, general corporate law, certain EU-regulations and regulations relating to the financial industry, in addition to accounts- and payment services. She has experience as a project leader for larger projects, negotiating and drafting loan documentation and other other finance agreements, including cash pool structures both in Norway and internationally.

Vibeke has been a member of the Legal Advisory Council at Bits (2020 – 2023) and the Contract Committee at Finance Norway (2019 – 2023).
