Kristian Skovgaard Larsen
Kristian Skovgaard Larsen specialises in construction law.
He is admitted to the Supreme Court and is recognized by Legal 500 and IFLR1000. Kristian is also head of the Real Estate department at DLA Piper Denmark in Aarhus.
Kristian assists clients in the construction industry, particularly building contractors and construction companies, in connection with construction projects in Denmark and abroad. He advises on tendering, negotiation, and implementation of construction projects of varying size, complexity, and duration.
His advice is based on the standard terms and conditions used in Denmark and FIDIC for international projects. Kristian specialises in drafting contracts and handling disputes within the construction industry.
He has conducted more than 100 arbitration cases before the Danish Building and Construction Arbitration Board and more than 200 cases concerning inspection and assessment. He has also been an acting judge at the Western High Court and is a court mediator at the Aarhus City Court and High Court of Western Denmark.

- Kristian has assisted a major European capital chain in connection with the off-plan construction of new headquarters in Aarhus and accompanying flagship store and car park to be used by other stakeholders in the area. Kristian advised on the project development, contract, tender process, construction phase, negotiations with the contractor and stakeholders as well as on infrastructure.
- Kristian has acted for several Danish ports in connection with their establishment of Power-to-X plants.
- Kristian has acted for a prominent Danish cultural enterprise in a liability case against an advisor regarding the dimensioning of ventilation systems.
