Headcount
The Nordic IPT group consists of more than 30 lawyers. DLA Piper’s global IPT team is made up of more than 550 lawyers worldwide, including over 160 partners.
- Providing ongoing advice to VOI in all Nordic countries on a wide range of matters, including data privacy compliance, review of user terms and conditions for VOI services as parking zones, VOI app and website.
- Advised Brøndbyerns IF Fodbold A/S (a listed Danish premier league football club) in relation to applying for and getting approval of facial recognition at the entrance of Brøndby Stadium as well assisting with their GDPR compliance project from the beginning to the end. The compliance work for Brøndby IF was complex as the company processes a large amount of personal data.
- Serving as main legal advisor to the Swedish Ski Association and advising on all aspects of its business, including in relation to event hosting, media rights, sponsorship and marketing.
- Assisted Digitale Gardermoen IKS, a consortium of 4 municipalities, in contract negotiations and conducting data privacy impact assessments in connection with the implementation of digital tools in the education sector.
- We have many years of experience with technology and sourcing. Working closely with the City of Copenhagen on public procurement of software solution and IT systems.
- Working closely together with the Danish Ministry of Finance (Moderniseringsstyrelsen) on the procurement of an IT payroll system to handle salary payments to all employees of the Danish Government (approx. 500,000 staff). Assisting with the drafting of a large and complex IT outsourcing contract.
- Advised LocalTapiola in negotiations on outsourcing of strategic IT services to CGI.
- Providing regular advice to entertainment and streaming services, including legal advice on all aspects of consumer rights, marketing law and copyrights. We have extensive experience of media and entertainment law matters primarily within the music, television and film sectors and work with developers, producers and distributors.
- Assisting various transportation and logistics companies in the Nordic countries with their GDPR compliance projects, including drafting compliance documents and records of processing activities, privacy and retention policies, policies on handling data subject requests and security breaches, compliance manuals, etc.
